Business issue: How to monitor the Finance information system in place and support users in their daily use?

Needs

In order to follow the day-to-day management centred on Supplier Accounting, the client wanted help with :

  • Monitoring supplier invoicing (6000 invoices and orders / year);
  • The implementation and evolution of order and invoice validation workflows in order to respect the validation ceilings;
  • Budget monitoring and fixed asset management;
  • An effective daily dialogue with the accounting department to respond to their daily requests and to monitor functional developments;
  • Improving error prevention for better reactivity and reducing payment times.

Solution

  • Implementation of the AX 2012 solution including: supplier and customer accounting, fixed asset management, stock management.
  • Implementation of monitoring tools for better responsiveness.
  • Interfacing the accounting system with a BI solution to improve budget management.

Results

  • The deployment started in February 2018 and is still ongoing in a long-term partnership with Apsia.
  • Smoother daily use for the 120 potential users.
  • Improvement of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounting flow.
